And there was me thinking idly today that I would find it particularly satisfying to go through my old posts and recatagorise them.

You know, to make it more consistent. To gain accuracy.

No, my bookshelves are not obviously alphabeticised. But they are catagorised.

Oh dear.

My list of categories on my wordpress blog is about a mile long. These days I use mostly mobile there.
I am trying to keep the categories to a minimum on the new blog, but it's not easy sometimes.
Thanks for giving me spot on your NaBloPoMo blogroll.
I shall be linking to you as soon as I create a blogroll on blog me.

I like the idea of tags, but can never bring myself to use them. Or I just forget and am too lazy to go back and add them. I've tried to use them more on my flickr page, but haven't gotten into the routine yet.

tags I get and truth be told I'm pretty damn obsessive about using a tag for every single little thing that I mention in my blog but categories... I have no idea.... how are they different from tags, I don't get it? *shrugs*

I understand this wholeheartedly. I never know how to tag my posts. I want to cover everything, but I don't want to be obsessive. I would just not use them, but (and here's where I hang my head in shame) I really like the way the tag cloud looks on a blog. I've always been a fan of them.

Look forward to reading more!

I never really looked at it that way. I usually end up categorizing my blogs into a bunch of different categories and adding about a bajillion tags to make sure I've covered everything.

I guess that's what OCD does to me. ;-)
