I don’t share your aversion for shower gels, unless you’re referring to the reallllly sweet, flowery, girly smelling ones. I like shower gels and the little spongy things I use to lather up. And I’m black, so lotion is a MUST to avert the ash factor. But I HATE baths. I don’t get them.

1-The thought of filling a tub with water (which means I willl HAVE to clean the tub first, regardless of when I did that last),
2-then awkwardly laying in the damn thing–I never really fit in ‘em. If I sit up, my boobs are out of the water, if I squat down, then my knees are freezing.
3-Then I still have to shower because now I’ve been soaking in whatever dead skin has come off my body. yuck
4-THEN I have to clean the damn tub AGAIN!
5-Not to mention that the water never stays warm

ugh. see my point?

Haha! I know what you mean though, I’ve been trying to avoid buying any bath stuff this year but failed on Monday when I bought a little something for my aunt from The Body Shop. I’m still trying to find something to give her with it ’cause my uncle and cousin’s gifts are much more imaginative!

What’s E45 cream? My husband is fragrance sensitive. When house guests come, we ask them to use our hypoallergenic, unscented products.
I could soak in a tub for an hour and use about 20 products if it didn’t bother him.
Yay re-gifting. Or a blog giveaway, except they woulldn’t be easy to mail.

Ah, the bath sets. I think those might be the quintessential “I have no idea what to get you” gift.

I completely understand what you’re saying, though! I actually enjoy those things, but only ones that I’ve picked out for myself.
