Welcome to my personal blog. Or, to be more accurate, essays based on and around my life written solely for the amusement of my friends and I, as and when I feel like updating (which isn’t much). Don’t worry, there’s loads to read!

The primary domain name that this website is hosted on is glomp.me. A “glomp” in Urban Dictionary terms is “the action of one person lovingly (and dramatically) attacking another with a hug.” (But I’m not really a huggy person).

Space and bandwidth are very kindly provided by Katharine, so please try to refrain from hacking into my website, or she’ll delete me off her server. And you wouldn’t want that, would you?

Being curious by nature, when I found out about the internet, I managed to get myself acquainted with HTML, accumulate several websites with stupid names, and learn how to blog, before my more dominant, lazy persona took over. Due to the “can’t be arsed” syndrome, most of the things I put online die a slow and painful death. For example, when my webhost went offline in 2005, I simply decided to not have a website. However, the internet had other plans. With everyone getting into the whole BeMyTwitFace thing, I figured I needed an online presence in the form of a website.

So, here we are. I still have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing here. I’m too lazy to make visitor content, don’t really know what to blog about, and the only constant in my life is food.

This is going to be interesting.
